Several New Albany roads will close Sept. 13, for the annual Walking Classic, billed by the city as North America's largest walking-only race.

The race begins at 8 a.m. Participants come from more than 177 zip codes nationwide, according to the city's road closure notice published Sept. 8. The city is asking drivers to use extra caution near the race route.
